The Zeus cable weighing 1/2 pound per 9ft section was developed to add intensity to your double unders. When exercises become easy they're proven to no longer affect the body.  Adding resistance to double unders can completely change a work out as demonstrated in the 2016 CrossFit Games when heavy double unders with a rope inspired by the Zeus rope were first performed.   The Zeus cable will develop stabilizer muscles while still provide a cardio based workout infused with the resistance training of weight lifting. This cable was carefully selected to ensure the user can still perform fluid double unders yet not alter the jumper's technique or mechanics. This rope comes in limited cable colors and is only available with Special Edition Black Ops Spiral Handles with Zeus logo tape.

How to Size Your Rope ?

When choosing a length for your Rx Jump Rope the safest approach is to measure a jump rope that you are already comfortable with and use that length when ordering. Below are recommendations to use if you are unsure of your length or you are looking to improve on efficiency.

HOW TO SIZE YOUR RX JUMP ROPE:

Figuring out the right jump rope size can be a tricky task.  If you are a beginner to intermediate skill level jumper (i.e. 0-50 double unders) it is important to begin with an approach that gives you a foundational starting point and then follows a progression for improvement just like any other high skilled movement.  Choosing the correct jump rope size is actually a 2 part process: First, choose a length that correlates to your height. Second, adjust your positioning to fit that rope allowing adequate spacing overhead and underfoot.

The Rx Sizing Method is a progression based approach with the goal to ultimately place you in a rope length that produces efficient mechanics and positioning. The suggested length correlates to your height to provide an abundance of rope clearance overhead and underfoot yet not so much as to force poor positioning and inefficient movement patterns. The Beginner to Intermediate length recommendation should be viewed as your starting point and all efforts should be directed towards moving to a shorter rope length over time.  A shorter rope length requires more compact positioning, which reduces fatigue in the larger muscle groups as well as produces a faster cycle rate per rotation.  In essence, a shorter rope will allow you to perform more work faster with less energy expended.
RX Sizing Recommendation: Beginner to Intermediate (0-50 Double Unders)   Height Plus 3 feet . Example: 6 foot height plus 3 feet = 9 foot rope length If you are an experienced jumper measure your current rope or choose a length you know works for you.
